Welcome to The Craft's Meow Blog May Release Blog Hop! 

Today we are celebrating the release of the 5 new stamp sets that we have previewed this week! All of the new sets are now available for purchase!

Today is not only release day, we are also previewing a new set called Chalkboard Birthday illustrated by Nina of Nina B Designs! 
Chalkboard Birthday is also this months free gift with a $50 purchase! 

I love the look of the chalkboard technique and this set is perfect to use for it!
I stamped the sentiment on black paper with versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. I added a notebook edge to the side and a bit of twine attached with a small library clip.
Since this is a card for my nephew, I kept with more masculine embellishments - buttons, twine and banners. Can you guess how old he will be? ;^)

TCM May Release - Day 4

Hello! 

Welcome back to the previews for The Crafts Meow's May release! 

We are on day 4 of the previews and all of the new stamps previewed this week will be released tomorrow during The Craft's Meow New Release Blog Hop!

Today's preview is another great set illustrated by Nina of Nina B Design called Let's Face It! 

I love all the possibilities that this set has to offer and I know you will too!

I colored this lovely lady with copics - R22, R24, R27/E000, E00, E11/E30, E33, E35, E39/T0, T1, T2, T3. She is layered on top of an oval embossed with the Sizzix Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder and the black paper which is cut out with a SB Labels 4 die.

I finished off the card with ribbon, lace and a big rhinestone!

TCM May Previews - Day 3

Hello and WELCOME back to the previews for The Crafts Meow's May release! 

Today we are previewing a new set illustrated by Karen Baker called Side by Side!

I can not tell you how happy I am to have this set in my collection! I needed a set that was full of sentiments for weddings, anniversaries...couples in general! 

I needed a card for a wedding that we are invited to next weekend. One of the flowers in the set caught my eye because of the little swirls and how they reminded me of a half of a heart. So I stamped the image twice at a bit of an angle to connect the swirls in a heart shape. After adding a bit of color to the heart and leaves, I covered it in stickles and added pearls for the flower buds. 

I used the sentiment 'For a Special Couple' which is one of many in this set!

The pattern papers is from My Minds Eye - Love Me.
